In order to arrange for your hydro service, please visit our business office at 360 West Street South during office hours (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday) to sign a contract for your service. Please give us at least 48 hours notice in advance of your moving date. The Orillia Power Distribution Corporation requires a deposit from all residential customers.
The deposit is calculated using the estimated bill based on the average monthly consumption with OPDC in the most recent 12 consecutive months within the last two years.
The minimum deposit amounts required are $100 for residential non-electric, $200 for residential electric and $400 for general service under 50 kW.
In order to verify the service address, the meter number is required prior to setup.
