With Pre-Authorized Payment your electricity bill is sent to you in advance and the date of your payment is posted to your bank account. This way you will know ahead of time the exact amount that will be deducted from your account. Saving the time of writing cheques, saving money on postage too!
To apply for direct payments please call one of our customer service representatives at 705-326-7315, option 3 or by completing our online Pre-Authorized Payment form

At most Financial Institutions in Ontario on or before the due date. Please note that sometimes it can take up to 10 days for your payment to reach our office from the bank.
By mail – don’t forget to enclose the return portion of the bill with the payment.

Credit Card Payments – VISA and Mastercard payments are now accepted by Orillia Power. Paymentus Corporation, a third party electronic bill payment service provider, will process all of our credit card payments. This payment option will be charged a processing fee of 1.75% of the payment amount, for each payment made up to a maximum of $1000. If your payment exceeds this $1000 maximum, you will have to process more than one payment. Each payment will incur a 1.75% processing fee.

Equal Payment Plan
The Equal Payment Plan (EPP) allows you to spread your annual electricity costs evenly throughout the year for easier budgeting and a more predictable monthly bill. With EPP, you pay the same amount every month!
The monthly budget amount is determined by taking your total bill amounts during the past 12 month period and calculating equal monthly payments for the next 12 months. Your budget amount can be reviewed at any time and if applicable, can also be adjusted. Once a year, your account is reconciled and any overpayment or underpayment is applied
